British Council figures come from its booking page; IDP's from its live Tashkent sessions, all of which showed UZS 2,800,000 for Academic and General Training on computer. The British Council's dates table listed one Tashkent session on 13 October 2026 at UZS 2,664,000, below its standard fee, so the session price can vary: check it when you book (British Council dates). Transfer, cancellation and refund rules
Both providers follow the same pattern (IDP policy, British Council policy). Cancel 15 or more days before the test for a 75% refund; within 14 days the fee is not refunded. Transfers are free 15 or more days out, cost an admin fee of up to 25% between 5 and 14 days, and are not allowed closer than that. The British Council says refunds can take 4 to 6 weeks.
IDP refunds a One Skill Retake in full if you cancel 72 hours or more before the session. For illness or emergencies, both accept special consideration requests up to two calendar days after the test, with evidence. If the British Council cancels a test for reasons within its control, you can claim travel and accommodation costs if you used your nearest centre. See our IELTS cancel, reschedule and refund guide.
| Time before the test | Transfer | Cancel |

| 15 days or more | Free | 75% refund |
| 5 to 14 days | Admin fee up to 25% | No refund |
| Under 5 days (IDP: within 4 days) | Not allowed; treated as a cancellation | No refund |

IDP books online or at an IDP branch, with a passport scan and a credit card (IDP).
