Test cities and results
IDP lists Andijan, Bukhara, Fergana, Namangan, Navoi, Nukus, Samarkand, Tashkent, Termez and Urgench, with Edu Action centres in Tashkent, Termez, Urgench and Bukhara; Tashkent had over 250 sessions scheduled for late September 2026 at 10:00, 14:30 and 18:00. British Council runs Tashkent and Samarkand. Results arrive in one to five days.
The 7.0 refund and the teacher bonus
Candidates under 30 who score 7.0 or higher (or TOEFL iBT 95) can claim a refund of the exam fee from the state through my.gov.uz, paid via the Xazna app or Xalq Banki; INHA University's guidance puts the amount at UZS 2,000,000 as of 2023. Teachers with an internationally recognised language certificate receive a 50% salary supplement under decree UP-134, in force since September 2022.

Russia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, South Korea and Turkey take the most Uzbek students; the UK, Germany and the US are smaller but need IELTS. El-Yurt Umidi's own site could not be opened, so confirm its thresholds there before planning around them.
