IELTS test cities in Mexico by provider
City lists come from IDP's test centre finder, the British Council's prices, dates and centres page and the ielts.org test centre finder for Mexico, which listed 33 venues on 13 October 2026. Mexico City venues include sites in Naucalpan (Satélite), Tlalnepantla and Santa Fe. We leave out addresses because venues move.

How to choose a centre
For a UK visa, book IELTS for UKVI or Life Skills in Mexico City: ielts.org marks the British Council's Mexico City office and IDP's International House Condesa venues as UKVI approved, and no other city has one. Elsewhere you sit standard IELTS Academic or General Training, which is fine for universities and for Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
Outside the five big cities only IDP is listed, at USD 299. In Mexico City and Guadalajara you can choose between the British Council (MXN 5,260), The Anglo Mexican Foundation (MXN 5,200) and International House (USD 299), so compare prices on the day you book.
