The fee is NGN 299,000 at every venue of both providers, so choose by date and journey. Lagos has the most choice: IDP's Lagos page showed more than 900 sessions across its venues, and the British Council tests in seven Lagos areas from Ikorodu to Ajah. Outside Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Benin and Enugu have venues from both providers.
In the north, the British Council lists Kano and IDP has a Kano city page, though it showed no sessions on 10 October 2026. If you live in Calabar, Warri or Osogbo, the British Council is your local option.
