Where can I take IELTS in Peru?

IELTS runs in two Peruvian cities. In Lima, the British Council tests at three venues (San Isidro, Miraflores and Pueblo Libre) and IDP at two (Miraflores and San Borja). Arequipa has IDP only, at International House. IELTS for UKVI and Life Skills are offered only in Lima, with the British Council. Every Academic, General Training and UKVI session listed is on computer.

IELTS test venues in Peru by provider

Venues come from the ielts.org test centre finder for Peru, which listed seven entries on 13 October 2026, the British Council's prices, locations and dates page and IDP's test centre finder. IDP's Ica page showed no dates. We leave out addresses because venues move.

How to choose a centre

For a UK visa, book IELTS for UKVI or Life Skills with the British Council in Lima (UKVI page). For universities and for Canada, Australia or New Zealand, any venue works. In the south, Arequipa saves a trip to Lima; its sessions cost USD 299, the same as IDP in Lima, against PEN 1,020 with the British Council.
