IELTS test cities in the Philippines by provider
City lists come from IDP's Philippines test centre finder and the British Council's dates, fees and locations page. Many venues are partner review centres, colleges or hotels rather than provider offices. We do not list addresses because venues move; check the exact venue in the provider's finder, or the ielts.org test centre finder, before you book.

How to choose a centre
Fees are the same everywhere (PHP 14,470), so choose on date, distance and test type. Manila has the most sessions: IDP's Manila page alone showed 633 upcoming sessions on 10 October 2026 (IDP Manila), and the British Council's venue at The Curve in Taguig runs daily. Smaller British Council venues test weekly or every other weekend.
For IELTS for UKVI, the British Council's dates page lists sessions in Bacolod, Baguio, Batangas, Cavite, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Leyte, Manila (Manila City, Quezon City and Taguig), Naga, Pampanga, Tagum and Tuguegarao, while its UKVI page names a slightly different list, so confirm in the booking system. IDP showed UKVI sessions in Manila, Davao and Baguio. Most IDP venues are marked One Skill Retake available.

If no centre is near you, the British Council's IELTS Online lets you sit IELTS Academic at home on your own computer, with results in 6 to 8 days. Which cities in the Philippines have IELTS test centres?+
Metro Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Bacolod, Pampanga, Cavite and Tuguegarao have both providers. IDP adds cities such as Laoag, Naga, Bohol and General Santos; the British Council adds Dagupan, Vigan and Dipolog.
Where can I take IELTS for UKVI in the Philippines?+
In Metro Manila and many regional cities, including Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Bacolod and Pampanga. Check the provider's booking system for the current UKVI venue list.
Is paper-based IELTS still available in the Philippines?+
Not with the British Council, which moved all tests to computer from 21 June 2026. IDP's sessions we saw were on computer, apart from Life Skills, which runs on paper.
Can I take IELTS at home in the Philippines?+
Yes, IELTS Academic Online with the British Council, at PHP 14,470. It is not accepted for immigration.
