Where can I take IELTS in Poland?

On 14 October 2026 the ielts.org finder listed nine IELTS venues in Poland: eight British Council venues in Gdańsk, Katowice, Kraków, Lublin, Poznań, Szczecin, Warsaw and Wrocław, at PLN 1,020, and IDP's Lang LTC in Warsaw, at PLN 995. All tests are on computer. IELTS for UKVI and Life Skills are offered only at the British Council in Warsaw.

IELTS centres in Poland by city

The table lists every Polish venue on the ielts.org finder with the fee its page showed; the British Council's booking system listed the same eight cities. Addresses are left out on purpose; your booking confirmation gives the current one.

Test dates and formats

Every Polish venue is computer-based, and One Skill Retake is offered at all of them. IDP's Lang LTC page showed 58 sessions between 19 October and 14 December 2026, Academic and General Training on most days. British Council dates are in its booking system by city; the British Council Poland page lets you choose your Speaking slot.

The British Council also sells IELTS Online, IELTS Academic at home, for applicants who cannot reach a centre; check that your university accepts it (IELTS Online vs computer vs paper).

UKVI and Life Skills in Warsaw

IELTS for UKVI (PLN 1,110) and Life Skills A1 or B1 (PLN 905) are offered only at British Council Warsaw, and need a passport. Book UKVI only if your UK visa asks for it (UKVI vs Academic).
