How much is the IELTS exam fee in Poland in 2026?

The British Council's dates and fees page says you pay online through Przelewy24, by card or with Apple Pay or Google Pay, and must pay within 1 hour of generating the payment link. EU citizens can use a national ID card or passport; non-EU candidates, and everyone taking IELTS for UKVI or Life Skills, need a passport. Only physical documents are accepted: electronic IDs are not allowed in the exam room.

Results on computer arrive in 1 to 5 days. Both providers offer One Skill Retake after a computer test, so you can resit one skill instead of all four.

The British Council's Polish policy uses the rules in the table. Because the booking is made online in the EU, the British Council also gives a 14-day cooling-off period: cancel within 14 days of the payment confirmation and you get the full fee back. If illness or an emergency stops you on the day, you can apply for special consideration before the test or up to two calendar days after it; if approved you get a transfer or a refund, sometimes minus an admin fee. IELTS for UKVI and Life Skills follow a separate policy. UKVI rules are in its UKVI policy.

IDP's Polish reschedule and cancel page has the same timings: free transfer 15 or more days before, up to 25% between 5 and 14 days, 75% refund on cancellation 15 or more days ahead and nothing after. IDP adds that with a medical certificate sent within 5 days of the test you get a refund minus the local administrative cost, and a no-show without notice loses the whole fee.
