How much is the PTE exam fee in Bhutan?

The Australian Department of Home Affairs accepts PTE Academic for tests taken on or after 7 August 2025, provided it is taken at a secure test centre. PTE Core is not on its list of approved tests, so do not book Core for an Australian visa, and Home Affairs does not accept any test delivered fully online or at home. Check the score your visa subclass or university needs before you book, and compare the tests in PTE vs IELTS for Australia PR. If you need a UK visa SELT, PTE Academic UKVI is not sold in Bhutan; IELTS for UKVI is available in Thimphu at INR 15,500.

Pearson's rules are the same everywhere (cancellation and rescheduling policy, last updated 17 September 2026, and refund policy). You can reschedule free while more than 14 full calendar days remain. Inside 14 days the Reschedule button disappears, so you must cancel and book again. A cancellation more than 14 days out refunds 100%, between 14 and more than 7 days 50%, and at 7 days or fewer nothing.

If illness or a family emergency stops you attending, Pearson may let you reschedule free at its discretion; submit the Request Emergency Reschedule form with evidence no later than 72 hours after the appointment. See our PTE reschedule, cancel and refund guide.

To book, create a myPTE account, choose the test, pick a centre and a slot at least 24 hours ahead, and pay. Pearson accepts American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa, and a voucher or promo code is entered at the payment step (Pearson booking guide). Your account name must match your passport exactly; it can be corrected up to 3 days before the test, never on test day, and a mismatch means no test and no refund.

Pearson prefers a valid passport, and outside your country of citizenship a passport is the only ID it accepts (ID policy). The name, date of birth and citizenship in myPTE must match it exactly. Then take a free PTE mock test to check you are ready before you pay USD 237.
