Is PTE available in Russia?
No. Pearson's test centers and fees price finder lists 122 countries and territories, and Russia is not one of them. To take PTE Academic, PTE Academic UKVI or PTE Core you must book a centre in another country and pay that country's fee.
Payment is the other hurdle. Pearson takes credit and debit cards plus Google Pay and Apple Pay, not PayPal, and must receive the full fee in the listed currency (payment policy). A declined payment cancels the booking, so arrange a card that works for international payments before you book.

Rules that matter when you test abroad
Outside your country of citizenship the only ID Pearson accepts is a valid passport, and the name, date of birth and citizenship on your booking must match it (ID policy). Pearson's rules are the same everywhere (cancellation and rescheduling policy, last updated 17 September 2026, and refund policy). You can reschedule free while more than 14 full calendar days remain. Inside 14 days the Reschedule button disappears, so you must cancel and book again. A cancellation more than 14 days out refunds 100%, between 14 and 7 days 50%, and closer than that nothing.
If travel is hard, compare IELTS options too: see IELTS for candidates in Russia and the PTE to IELTS converter. Take a free PTE mock test before you pay for a trip.
