Test rules and how PTE compares with IELTS at QMUL
QMUL says it will consider the PTE Academic, Academic UKVI and Academic Online tests, achieved no more than two years from the start date of your course. If you are a national of a country not on UKVI's differential evidence list, QMUL can only accept a test it can verify directly at source. The page gives no Pearson institution code.
On the same page, Band 4 (PTE 71, 65 each) is IELTS 6.5 with 6.0 in each, Band 3 (PTE 65, 59 each) is IELTS 6.0 with 5.5, and Band 5 (PTE 76, 65 each) is IELTS 7.0 with 6.0.
