What IELTS score do you need for Seattle University?

Non-native speakers must show English proficiency regardless of English studies, residence in the US or immigration status, and Seattle University can require testing when it considers it necessary. The TOEFL code is 4695. Students admitted in the ELCB range take diagnostic tests on the first day of classes and some have the bridge waived on the results. No test is needed with a bachelor's or higher from Seattle University, a recognised US college, or one of the listed countries, which include the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, English-speaking Canada, Ghana, Kenya and Nigeria. India and Pakistan are not on the list. A degree from any other country can still count through the medium-of-instruction route: official confirmation from the institution that all instruction was in English, after at least three years of full-time undergraduate or two years of full-time graduate study there. First-year and transfer applicants meet the requirement with IELTS 6.5, TOEFL 86, PTE 58, Duolingo 120, SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 500 or ACT 20 in both Reading and English; IELTS 6.0, TOEFL 68 to 85, PTE 48 to 57 or Duolingo 105 to 115 admits you with ELCB. Seattle University accepts IELTS One Skill Retake, TOEFL MyBest and SAT superscores, but counts your most recent result even if an earlier one was higher, and does not consider waiver requests once scores are submitted.
