What Duolingo score do you need for Stevens Institute of Technology?

Graduate applicants can submit certified results to Stevens through their Duolingo English Test account. Students placed in an ELC course can take at most 12 credits in their first term, attendance is mandatory, and anyone who fails must retake the course the next term. For Level 3, Stevens says updated scores are not accepted after admission.

The graduate policy states a two-year dating rule for TOEFL and IELTS but does not give one for Duolingo, and it sets no DET subscores.

For comparison, the undergraduate page asks for IELTS 6.0 overall, and the graduate policy sets IELTS 6 as the minimum to be considered and 7 for Level 1.

Below 110 the graduate policy offers no route. Between 110 and 119 you can still be admitted, but you will take English Language Communication courses or sit the ECPE, which limits your first-term load. Undergraduates can also use SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing of 550 or more.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Stevens programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
