What PTE score do you need for the University of Göttingen?

Agricultural Sciences wants the certificate no more than three years old at application. Modern Indian Studies also allows three years, and Biology allows six. The Modern Indian Studies page names the test as Global Scale of English (Pearson Academic) at 76. None of the pages mentions PTE Academic Online, PTE Core or a Pearson code.

For comparison on the same pages: Agricultural Sciences asks IELTS band 6, Biology IELTS Academic 7.0 and Modern Indian Studies IELTS Academic band 7. For Modern Indian Studies you can apply first and submit English proof by the enrolment deadline (usually 30 September for winter semester).

The pages do not describe a pre-sessional route. Exemptions exist: Agricultural Sciences exempts applicants whose bachelor's is from a listed English-speaking country, and Biology accepts two years of study taught in English. Letters saying your studies were in English are not enough on their own for Agricultural Sciences.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Göttingen programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
