What PTE score do you need for the University of Surrey?

Surrey lists Pearson Test of English (PTE Academic) among tests that must have been achieved within the past two years, with the note: "Please note we do not accept PTE Academic Online". The page does not list PTE Academic UKVI separately or give a Pearson institution code.

Surrey runs on-campus and online pre-sessional English courses of 11 and 8 weeks, and says completing a University of Surrey pre-sessional immediately before the degree is accepted evidence. It also accepts the British Council UK pre-sessional English course, the KL Excellence certificate and Oxford International's online pre-sessional course.

For a Student visa, gov.uk asks for English at CEFR B2 for study at degree level or above and B1 below degree level, and says a university can assess degree-level applicants' English itself and may ask for a different test (gov.uk).

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Surrey programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
