What PTE score do you need for the University of Toledo?

Undergraduates submit scores through the testing service or, if they have not yet done so, email results as a PDF to international@utoledo.edu. The undergraduate page does not accept scores more than two years old. Graduate scores must be sent by the testing service directly to Graduate Admissions; paper copies and uploads are not accepted, and scores must still be valid on the first day of the programme. Neither page mentions PTE Academic Online or PTE Core.

On the same pages, IELTS 6.0 sits alongside PTE 48 for undergraduates and IELTS Academic 6.5 alongside PTE 58 for graduates.

Undergraduates can also meet the requirement by completing the High Advanced Level at the American Language Institute, UToledo's intensive English programme, or level 112 at an ELS Language Center. The graduate page does not describe a PTE-based pathway; it lists degree-based exemptions instead.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your UToledo programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
