What IELTS score do you need for Yeshiva University?

Non-native English speakers send one of TOEFL 85 (at least 20 in speaking and 18 in the other sections), IELTS Academic 6.5 with no band below 6.0, Duolingo 115 with no subscore below 100, or PTE 61 with no section below 55. The test can be no more than two years older than your application date, scores must reach Yeshiva electronically from the testing agency before enrollment, and TOEFL home tests are not accepted. Send TOEFL to code 2990, IELTS to "Yeshiva University Graduate School" and Duolingo or PTE to the Katz School of Science and Health. See Katz international students.

You do not need a score if you hold a bachelor's degree or higher from a US university, or completed your degree in a country on Yeshiva's exempt list. The list has 38 countries, among them Australia, Canada, Ghana, Ireland, Kenya, New Zealand, Nigeria, Singapore, South Africa and the UK; India and Pakistan are not on it. The Katz School also runs a nine-week online intensive English program for applicants with low-intermediate to upper-intermediate English, ending in a certificate. Undergraduate applicants send English results if their main language of instruction has not been English. Yeshiva accepts TOEFL 82, IELTS 7 or Duolingo 115, sent directly from the testing service.
