I would like to talk about a naming ceremony I attended about six months ago for my cousin's newborn daughter. She lives in a picturesque village just outside Bristol, and her family decided to host the event in their back garden because the weather was remarkably sunny for late spring.

Basically, the whole extended family and quite a few close friends gathered together around midday. The garden had been decorated with pastel bunting, fairy lights, and lots of fresh flowers, which created a wonderful festive atmosphere. What made the day particularly special was the blend of traditional rituals and informal games. They held a short blessing where the grandparents read out heartfelt wishes for the baby, and then everyone took part in planting a small apple tree in the garden to symbolise her growing up alongside nature. After that, we had a fantastic spread of homemade food, including a tiered sponge cake that looked almost too good to cut.

For me, the event was genuinely exciting because it was the first time our entire family had managed to reunite in person for over two years. Seeing my cousin step into motherhood with such joy was deeply touching. On top of that, there was a great sense of anticipation during the big reveal of the baby's middle name, which had been kept a secret until the ceremony. Everyone gasped and cheered when it was announced. The uplifting energy throughout the afternoon made it an unforgettable day that left everyone beaming.

Speak for the full two minutes, about 220 to 280 words at a natural pace. The examiner will stop you at two minutes, which is a good sign, not a problem.
