What IELTS score do you need for ESSEC Business School?

Global BBA: the English test is not required if the last two years of your academic curriculum were taught entirely in English.

Master in Management: for applicants with an international degree, the test is waived after at least three years in a higher education programme taught completely in English. You upload an authenticated certificate, mark sheet or similar document stating the medium of instruction; screenshots are rejected. The page does not list countries, so a three-year English-medium degree from India or Pakistan can qualify with that document.

Global MBA: no test is needed if you are a native English speaker, did your university degree in English, have spent the last three years in an English-speaking environment, or have lived at least three years in an English-speaking country.

BBA and MiM tests must not be older than two years at the deadline of the application round you choose, and online versions are accepted. Without a score uploaded, your application is incomplete, so book early. The MBA accepts TOEFL MyBest scores and TOEFL Essentials (minimum 10).

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your ESSEC programme page and in your offer, so check it there before you book a test.
