What IELTS score do you need for Kean University?

Graduate applicants need a test if their bachelor's degree is from an institution outside the US in a country where English is not the principal language. Accepted tests are TOEFL 79 internet-based (550 paper-based, 4 on the new scale), IELTS 6.0 and Duolingo 105. Some programs also ask for the GRE or GMAT. See Kean international graduate applicants.

You can request a waiver with official documentation that your bachelor's or master's was completed at an institution where English is the language of instruction, or with transcripts for a bachelor's or master's from an accredited US college. An English-medium degree from India, Pakistan, Nepal or Bangladesh, backed by official documentation such as a medium-of-instruction letter, fits the first route. Applicants to fully online programs cannot use a waiver.

Freshmen and transfers need the same scores if their secondary education was in a country where English is not the principal language. Freshmen can request a waiver with official documentation that their secondary school taught in English, which is how an English-medium Indian Class 12 would be assessed.
