What IELTS score do you need for Lewis University?

Only one score is required. The graduate catalog lists TOEFL iBT 79 with a writing subscore of at least 20, IELTS Academic 6.0 with Writing at least 6.0, PTE-A 52 with a writing subscore of at least 50, Duolingo 105 with a writing subscore of at least 100, GTEC 1200 or ELS level 112. IELTS scores can be sent by email; TOEFL scores must come from your ETS account to code 1404; ELS certificates must be emailed by your ELS centre. See the graduate catalog.

Full graduate admission also needs a bachelor's degree with at least a 2.75 GPA on a 4.0 scale, a statement of purpose, two letters of recommendation, a résumé and a course-by-course evaluation from One Earth Evaluations, Educational Perspectives, ECE, WES or another NACES member.

If you attended school in a country where English is the official spoken language, the requirement may not apply. Lewis does not publish its exempt-country list; the Admissions Office provides it on request, so ask before assuming India, Pakistan or Nigeria qualifies. No separate medium-of-instruction waiver is described.

Lewis reserves the right to test the English writing of all incoming undergraduate and graduate students and to place them in courses that build specific skills, so a waiver does not rule out extra writing classes. See the undergraduate catalog for the same rule.
