What IELTS score do you need for the University of North Florida?

Undergraduates can meet the requirement with TOEFL 79, IELTS 6.5, Duolingo 110, PTE 53, ACT Reading 19 and English 17, SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 490, CLT 38 or AP International English Language 3. UNF also lists other criteria it may consider, including graduating from a high school taught in English, documented on the school website, the transcript or a Medium of Instruction (MOI) certificate. An Indian Class 12 from an English-medium school, with an MOI certificate, fits that description, though UNF says these criteria "may be considered" rather than guaranteeing a waiver.

Other routes include a US high school diploma (with at least two years of US high school), an American diploma or IB from a US-accredited overseas school taught in English, US college credit with English Composition, or UNF's English Language Program at Pre-University level with a 3.0 average.

Graduate applicants need TOEFL 79, IELTS 6.5, Duolingo 110 or PTE 53, or a US bachelor's or master's degree, or the Pre-University level of UNF's English Language Program with a 3.0 average. Two further criteria, GRE Verbal 152 and graduating from a college taught in English (shown on the school website, transcript or an MOI certificate), only count if you email your Graduate Program Director with official proof and the director then emails the Graduate School to approve it. Applicants from listed English-speaking countries do not need TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo scores. The list includes Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Singapore, the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Canada (except Quebec); India, Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh are not on it.
