What IELTS score do you need for UNLV?

Graduate applicants can also use ELS Level 112, CEFR B2 or the Michigan English Test at 58. You may send unofficial scores for the first evaluation; if you are admitted on unofficial scores, your admission is conditional on UNLV receiving official scores early in your first semester. Applicants from listed English-speaking countries, including the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada (except Quebec), Nigeria, Kenya, the Philippines and Singapore, are exempt. UNLV also exempts applicants who received a post-secondary degree from an institution where English is the primary language of instruction, provided they submit proof of the language of instruction. That route can apply to an English-medium Indian degree, but confirm with UNLV before skipping the test.

Undergraduates can also qualify with ELS Level 109, CEFR B2, MET 53, SAT EBRW 480, ACT English 18, or by passing ENG 113 at UNLV or an ENG 101 equivalent with a C. Applicants from listed countries, or with a degree or high school diploma from an institution where English was the primary language of instruction, are exempt.

If you meet every requirement except English, UNLV may invite you to the ELC Fast Track: full-time study in the non-credit Intensive English Program on a language-study I-20 until you complete Level 4 with a C or higher in every course (at least one semester, at most two years).
