Make a shortlist you can act on

Create one row per course: accepted test, score, component conditions, permitted format, evidence deadline and official source.
For the HSLU programme, check the language-clarification PDF alongside the main admissions page and confirm any unclear condition with the programme. Do not infer extra component scores from a generic conversion table.
For the USI programme, read its separate Italian-language conditions too. A PTE result answers only the English-evidence part of the application.
Where PTE is not accepted, decide whether an official exemption applies or whether you need another accepted test. Where evidence is optional, distinguish test preparation from improving the English needed for study.

Which Swiss programmes explicitly list PTE Academic?+

The examples checked here are HSLU's MSc IT, Digitalization & Sustainability, whose clarification lists 66+, and USI's Master in European Studies in Investor Relations and Financial Communication, which lists 65. Check the complete admissions conditions for the exact programme.

Does ETH Zurich accept PTE for its master's certificate requirement?+

Its exhaustive recognised-certificate list does not include PTE and excludes other certificates. A score conversion does not override that policy; check its listed tests and exemptions.

Does an optional English certificate mean EPFL explicitly accepts PTE?+

No. The Computer Science master's says English certificates are optional, but the cited policy does not give a PTE acceptance score. Do not turn absence of a compulsory test into an endorsement of a particular test.
