Can I transfer my PTE booking to another person?

No. Pearson's malpractice policy says test registrations are not transferable, and transferring one to another person is listed as malpractice. The only allowed changes to personal details are corrections of details entered wrongly at registration. If you cannot take the test, reschedule it free while more than 14 full days remain, or cancel under Pearson's refund rules.

What Pearson's rules say

The malpractice policy lists transferring a test registration to another individual as malpractice, alongside letting someone else use a voucher allocated to you and proxy testing (taking a test for someone else).

Proven malpractice can lead to revoked scores, permanent disqualification from PTE and suspension of linked accounts, and Pearson can share decisions with visa authorities and institutions.

Why the name has to match

On test day the name, date of birth, citizenship and gender on the passport must exactly match the booking, or the candidate is not allowed to sit the test and the fee is lost (ID policy). A booking in your name cannot be used by anyone else.

If the other person needs a test, they create their own myPTE account and book. See how to book PTE.
