How to pay, results and One Skill Retake

You register on the British Council site, then get an email with a link to pay on Finnbrit's website (Finnbrit IELTS). Finnbrit's payment provider, Paytrail, offers online bank payment, cards, MobilePay and invoice options such as OP Lasku or Klarna (terms). Payments are confirmed only in working hours, so weekend bookings can wait.

Finnbrit says results arrive within 5 days of a computer test, with at most 14 candidates per session. IELTS Online results take 6 to 8 days, and you must be 18 or over. IELTS Online is not accepted for immigration purposes. One Skill Retake must be booked within 60 days of the full test, with no exceptions.

Cancellation, transfer and refund rules in Finland

Finnbrit's terms copy the British Council's global rules for the standard test: transfers are free 15 or more days before the test, cost up to 25% within 5 to 14 days and are not allowed within 4 days. Cancel 15 or more days ahead and 75% is refunded; within 14 days nothing. Finnbrit says the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to its exam services. UKVI tests have their own terms (UKVI policy).
