Test dates and the test day
Finnbrit says IELTS on computer usually runs weekly, in a language studio with at most 14 candidates, and the Speaking test is face to face with an examiner (Finnbrit IELTS). The British Council booking system showed sessions on 30 October and 6 November 2026, starting at 10:00 or 14:00.
If you need extra time or other special arrangements, tick the accessibility box when booking and send medical evidence at least six weeks before the test.

PTE is also in the capital region, in Espoo (PTE test centres in Finland).
For a Finnish university, check the University of Helsinki, Aalto University or Tampere University. Fees and refunds are in IELTS fee in Finland; take a free IELTS mock test first.
