How much is the PTE exam fee in Hungary?

Pearson's test centre list, which feeds its centre finder, had no Hungarian centre on 14 October 2026, and no centre in Slovakia either. These are the nearest countries with centres; each price covers PTE Academic, PTE Academic UKVI and PTE Core in that country.

PTE Academic Online is the at-home alternative. Pearson says it is the same as PTE Academic in content and scoring, suits study applications to institutions that recognise PTE Academic, and is not currently accepted by governments for visa applications.

Pearson's rules are the same everywhere (cancellation and rescheduling policy, last updated 17 September 2026, and refund policy). You can reschedule free while more than 14 full calendar days remain, up to six times per booking. Inside 14 days you must cancel and book again. A cancellation more than 14 days out refunds 100%, between 14 and 7 days 50%, and at 7 days or fewer nothing.

To book, create a myPTE account, choose the test, pick a centre and a slot at least 24 hours ahead, and pay by American Express, Discover, Mastercard or Visa (Pearson booking guide). See our PTE reschedule, cancel and refund guide.

IELTS is the easier test to sit in Hungary: 93,500 HUF at British Council centres in Budapest, with no travel abroad. See IELTS exam fee in Hungary.

Hungarian universities that name PTE Academic accept it: BME asks 50, Semmelweis's health-science programmes 51, the University of Pécs 59 and Corvinus's CEMS master's 68. Corvinus bachelor's and Óbuda University do not list PTE Academic. See PTE for Hungary, use the PTE to IELTS converter, and take a free PTE mock test.
