PTE fees in Malawi
Pearson sets one price per test for the whole country in its test centers and fees price finder; we read it with Malawi selected on 14 October 2026. The price is in US dollars, not local currency, so the amount on your statement depends on your card's exchange rate.

| PTE Academic | USD 255 | Study abroad, Australian and New Zealand visas |
| PTE Academic UKVI | USD 255 | UK visas that need a Secure English Language Test |

| PTE Home A1, A2 or B1 | USD 215 each | UK family, extension and settlement routes |
| PTE Academic Online (at home) | USD 255 | Listed at the same price; check your university accepts it |

Reschedule and refund rules
Pearson's rules are the same in every country (cancellation and rescheduling policy, last updated 17 September 2026). You can reschedule free while more than 14 full calendar days remain, up to six times per appointment. Inside 14 days the Reschedule button disappears, so you must cancel and book again. Cancel more than 14 full days ahead for a full refund, between 14 and 7 days for 50%, and at 7 days or fewer for nothing.
For a medical or family emergency, Pearson may allow a free rebooking if you send its emergency request with evidence no later than 72 hours after the appointment; acceptance is at its discretion. See our PTE reschedule, cancel and refund guide.
| Time left before the test | Reschedule | Refund if you cancel |
|---|---|---|
| More than 14 full calendar days | Free, up to 6 times | 100% |
| 14 to 7 full days | Not possible: cancel and book again | 50% |
| 7 days or fewer | Not possible: cancel and book again | None |
