PTE fees in Namibia
Pearson sets one price per test for the whole country in its test centers and fees price finder; we read it with Namibia selected on 14 October 2026. The price is in US dollars, not local currency, so the amount on your statement depends on your card's exchange rate.
| Test | Fee | Used for |
|---|---|---|
| PTE Academic | USD 280 | Study abroad, Australian and New Zealand visas |
| PTE Academic UKVI | USD 280 | UK visas that need a Secure English Language Test |
| PTE Core | USD 280 | Canadian economic immigration |
| PTE Home A1, A2 or B1 | USD 235 each | UK family, extension and settlement routes |
| PTE Academic Online (at home) | USD 280 | Listed at the same price; check your university accepts it |
PTE for UK visas from Namibia
PTE Academic UKVI and PTE Home are Pearson's tests for UK visa routes. The British Council's Namibian site had no IELTS for UKVI page on 14 October 2026, so PTE avoids a trip to South Africa or Botswana for a UKVI test.
On the same day Pearson listed PTE Academic at USD 195 in Mauritius, USD 255 in Malawi, USD 270 in Botswana, USD 280 in Namibia, USD 295 in Zambia, USD 305 in Tanzania, USD 310 in Zimbabwe and Mozambique, and ZAR 5,800 in South Africa. The price follows the country of the test centre, not your nationality. Standard IELTS costs NAD 6,700 in Windhoek; see IELTS exam fee in Namibia.

Reschedule and refund rules
Pearson's rules are the same in every country (cancellation and rescheduling policy, last updated 17 September 2026). You can reschedule free while more than 14 full calendar days remain, up to six times per appointment. Inside 14 days the Reschedule button disappears, so you must cancel and book again. Cancel more than 14 full days ahead for a full refund, between 14 and 7 days for 50%, and at 7 days or fewer for nothing.
For a medical or family emergency, Pearson may allow a free rebooking if you send its emergency request with evidence no later than 72 hours after the appointment; acceptance is at its discretion. See our PTE reschedule, cancel and refund guide.
| Time left before the test | Reschedule | Refund if you cancel |
|---|---|---|
| More than 14 full calendar days | Free, up to 6 times | 100% |
| 14 to 7 full days | Not possible: cancel and book again | 50% |
| 7 days or fewer | Not possible: cancel and book again | None |
