How much is the PTE exam fee in Pakistan in 2026?

Pearson's rules are global (cancellation and rescheduling, refund policy). Reschedule free in myPTE while more than 14 full calendar days remain, up to six times. Inside 14 days you cannot reschedule; you cancel under the refund rules and book again. For illness or a family emergency, submit the Request Emergency Reschedule form with evidence no later than 72 hours after the appointment; Pearson decides at its discretion.

Because the fee is in US dollars, a refund is also calculated on the USD amount; any bank charges or exchange differences on your card are outside Pearson's refund policy.

Pearson accepts Visa and Mastercard credit or debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and does not accept PayPal (payment policy). Make sure your card is enabled for international or e-commerce payments in US dollars before you start, because a declined payment cancels the booking.

Banks in Pakistan deduct advance tax on international card transactions under section 236Y (the British Council quotes 1% for filers and 3% for non-filers for its own card payments). Ask your bank whether this applies to your PTE payment, and budget for it.

Pearson's fees page lists official voucher resellers only for Nigeria and China, not Pakistan. You can also book through an authorised PTE Partner, who uses Pearson's Partners Portal and never needs your myPTE password. Pearson warns against offers well below the official fee, deals on social media and guaranteed scores, and it cannot recover money paid outside official channels (booking safely).

Pick the test, choose your city and centre, select a slot at least 24 hours ahead, create your myPTE account and pay (Pearson's booking guide). Enter your name exactly as on your passport; you can fix details up to 3 days before the test, but a mismatch on the day means no test and no refund.
