What IELTS score do you need for the University of Findlay?

The overall graduate minimum is TOEFL 79, IELTS 6.5, PTE 58 or Duolingo 105, and the program table adds band minimums: the MBA needs IELTS 6.5 in Writing and 6.0 in the other bands, and most other programs need 6.0 in every band. The MA in TESOL does not accept PTE. GRE or GMAT is not required for the MBA, ESHM, TESOL, Health Informatics or Applied Security and Analytics programs. See admission criteria by graduate program.

Graduate applicants who studied in, or are citizens of, the UK, US, Canada, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand or Ghana (with a Ghanaian bachelor's) are exempt. Others can be exempted by authenticating CEFR C1 or above, and Findlay says applicants who attended an English-speaking university may not need a test: upload your credentials with the application to be evaluated for exemption. Undergraduates need TOEFL 61, IELTS 6.0, iTEP 3.5, PTE 50 or Duolingo 95, or Level 8 at The Language Company. A school that teaches in English and follows an American or British curriculum counts as English Medium; a school that teaches in English but follows its own national curriculum and exams counts as an English Version School. Either way you can skip the test with school or government documentation at CEFR B2 or with ACT 20 or SAT 1040, but students from English Version Schools take Findlay's first-year Foundations (Bridge) Program of ESL support and college writing.

Below the minimum, at either level, you can be conditionally accepted and start in the CEA-accredited Intensive English Language Program, then move into your degree once your scores improve.
