Matching Headings: how to approach it

    Read each paragraph's first and last sentences: they usually carry its main idea.

  2. 2

    Pick the heading that covers the whole paragraph, not one detail inside it.

  3. 3

    There are more headings than paragraphs, so cross off each heading once you use it.

  4. 4

    Do the paragraphs you are sure of first; the leftovers become easier.
