How to answer

Matching Information: how to approach it

  1. 1

Read the items first and note what kind of information each wants: an example, a cause, a date, a warning.

  2. 2

Items are not in passage order, so skim each paragraph once and note what it does.

  3. 3

A paragraph can be the answer more than once, and some paragraphs are never used.

  4. 4

Match the idea, not a repeated word: the paragraph usually paraphrases the item.
