Yes/No/Not Given: how to approach it

    Look for opinion signals in the passage: adjectives, adverbs like surprisingly, and verbs like argue or doubt.

  2. 2

    Yes means the writer holds that view; No means the writer holds the opposite view.

  3. 3

    Not Given means the writer never says what they think about it, even if the topic is mentioned.

  4. 4

    Questions follow the passage order, so a missed answer is usually between its neighbours.
