Where can I take IELTS or PTE in Cebu?

Pearson's test centre finder listed one PTE centre in Cebu on 10 October 2026: ACE Testing Hub – Cebu, a partner venue in Cebu City. It is the only PTE centre in the Visayas; the next nearest are in Davao and Metro Manila.

Pearson's finder does not say which tests each centre runs on which day. When you book, choose PTE Academic, PTE Academic UKVI or PTE Core first and then your city; only centres with slots for that test appear.

Read on 10 October 2026 in the British Council's booking system, IDP's session listings for Cebu, both providers' the Philippines fee pages and Pearson's price finder with the Philippines selected. IELTS costs the same at both providers across the Philippines. Pearson prices PTE in US dollars only.

Refund, transfer and payment rules are in our IELTS fee in the Philippines and PTE fee in the Philippines guides.

Elsewhere in the Visayas, IDP lists Bohol, Iloilo, Bacolod, Dumaguete and Leyte, and the British Council tests in Iloilo and Bacolod. For PTE, the alternatives are Davao and Metro Manila. See our Manila guide, and the Philippines test centre list for every city.

IELTS: book online with the British Council or IDP, choose Cebu and pick a session; the venue address comes in your confirmation. IDP accepts a passport, the Philippine National ID card, or a PRC, SSS, GSIS or UMID ID, and cancels unpaid bookings after 48 hours; the British Council gives you 24 hours to pay by card or through Dragonpay (online banking, InstaPay, QR Ph, GCash, PayMaya).

PTE: create a myPTE account with details that exactly match your ID, choose the test, then Cebu, a centre and a slot at least 24 hours ahead (Pearson's booking guide). Pearson's ID policy prefers a passport, but Filipino citizens testing in the Philippines may instead show a driver's licence, military ID, national ID, SSS ID, UMID or PRC ID, as long as it shows name, date of birth, signature and photo (or a second ID covers what is missing).

Results: the British Council's booking system says 1 to 5 days for IELTS on computer, and Pearson sends PTE scores typically within 48 hours (PTE scoring). Before you pay, take a free IELTS mock test or a free PTE mock test to check you are ready.
