PTE fees in the Philippines
Pearson sets one price per test for the whole country, shown in its test centers and fees price finder when you choose the Philippines. There is no peso price on Pearson's site, so what you pay in PHP depends on your card's exchange rate. We found no late booking fee; you simply cannot book a slot less than 24 hours away.
| Test | Fee in the Philippines | Used for |
|---|---|---|
| PTE Academic | USD 240 | Study and migration (Australia, New Zealand, UK universities and more) |
| PTE Academic UKVI | USD 240 | UK visas that require a four-skill SELT |
| PTE Core | USD 240 | Canadian economic immigration (IRCC) |
| PTE Home A1, A2, B1 | USD 200 each | UK family, extension and settlement routes |
Reschedule and refund rules
Pearson's rules are the same everywhere (cancellation and rescheduling policy, last updated 17 September 2026, and refund policy). You can reschedule free while more than 14 full calendar days remain, up to six times per booking. Inside 14 days the Reschedule button disappears, so you must cancel and book again. A cancellation more than 14 days out refunds 100%, between 14 and more than 7 days 50%, and at 7 days or fewer nothing.
If illness or a family emergency stops you attending, Pearson may let you reschedule free at its discretion; submit the Request Emergency Reschedule form with evidence no later than 72 hours after the appointment. See our PTE reschedule, cancel and refund guide.
| Time left before the test | Reschedule | Refund if you cancel |
|---|---|---|
| More than 14 full calendar days | Free, up to 6 times | 100% |
| 14 days down to more than 7 days | Not possible: cancel and rebook | 50% |
| 7 days or fewer | Not possible: cancel and rebook | None |

To book, create a myPTE account, choose the test, pick a centre and a slot at least 24 hours ahead, and pay. Pearson accepts American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa, and a voucher or promo code is entered at the payment step (Pearson booking guide). Your account name must match your passport exactly; it can be corrected up to 3 days before the test, never on test day, and a mismatch means no test and no refund.
Pearson's fees page names official voucher resellers only for Nigeria and China (Pearson), not the Philippines. A cheap "voucher" from an agent or a social media page is not something Pearson lists, so book direct in myPTE unless the seller can show the voucher came from Pearson.
IELTS costs PHP 14,470 and PTE USD 240, so compare them at your card's rate, then choose by what your university, regulator or visa accepts. Nurses and caregivers heading abroad should check which test their regulator lists before paying. Use the PTE to IELTS converter to translate a band requirement, then take a free PTE mock test.
