Where to take PTE in the Philippines and what it costs
Pearson lists PTE Academic centres in Manila, Makati, Cebu, Davao and Baguio, and PTE Academic UKVI and PTE Home across the region. IDP Philippines, which also administers PTE, reprints the fee as USD 230, about ₱12,790, with a 50% rescheduling fee at 8 to 13 days before the test and the full fee inside 7 days. IELTS on computer at IDP is ₱14,470 for comparison.

Ahpra accepts PTE Academic for nurse registration at 63 overall with component minimums for tests taken from 23 April 2026 (66 with 56 in writing before that), from at most two sittings within 12 months. The NMC accepts only IELTS Academic and OET, so nurses heading to the UK cannot use PTE.

Australia's thresholds are per skill for tests from 7 August 2025: Competent 47 listening, 48 reading, 51 writing, 54 speaking; Proficient 58 / 59 / 69 / 76 for 10 points; Superior 69 / 70 / 85 / 88 for 20. Canada does not accept PTE Academic for Express Entry: PTE Core CLB 7 is listening 60, reading 60, writing 69, speaking 68. UK visas need 59 in each skill for B2.
