How much is the PTE exam fee in Ukraine in 2026?

The British Council has suspended IELTS at its Ukrainian centres and offers only IELTS Academic Online, for UAH 9,900, which it says immigration authorities do not accept (IELTS in Ukraine). IELTS for UKVI means travelling to Poland. PTE Academic UKVI is listed for Ukraine, so a centre-based UK visa test may be possible without leaving the country.

Pearson's pages we read on 14 October 2026 say nothing about wartime changes in Ukraine. Before planning around the Kyiv centre, sign in to myPTE and check that it shows a slot for your test.

Pearson applies the same rules in Ukraine as everywhere else (cancellation and rescheduling policy and refund policy). You can reschedule free while more than 14 full calendar days remain, up to six times per booking. Inside 14 days the Reschedule button disappears, so you must cancel and book again: between 14 and 7 full days you get 50% back, and closer than that nothing.

For illness or a family emergency, Pearson may allow a free reschedule if you send the Request Emergency Reschedule form with evidence no later than 72 hours after your appointment; acceptance is at its discretion.

To book, create a myPTE account, choose the test, pick a centre and a slot at least 24 hours ahead, and pay (Pearson's booking guide). Pearson takes credit and debit cards plus Google Pay and Apple Pay, does not accept PayPal, and needs full payment in the currency shown (payment policy). You can sit PTE up to 12 times in any 12 months (retake policy). Bring a valid passport: Pearson's identification policy says that for all PTE tests the ID should be your passport, and the name, date of birth, citizenship and gender on your booking must match it exactly.

If the Kyiv centre has no slot, the nearest Pearson centres are in Warsaw and Białystok (PTE fee in Poland) and Bucharest (PTE fee in Romania). Check your level with a free PTE mock test first.
