Tips
Listen for meaning in chunks of three to five words rather than single words.
Start speaking straight after the tone, before the sentence fades from memory.
Keep a steady, natural rhythm. A smooth answer with one word missing scores better than a halting perfect one.
If you lose a word, keep going: never stop or restart.
Copy the speaker's stress and intonation; it helps both memory and Oral Fluency.

One type at a time builds accuracy. A timed sectional test or full mock adds the real timings and a score on Pearson's 10–90 scale.
Try a free PTE mock →Hold the sentence as two or three meaning chunks rather than a string of words, and start speaking as soon as the tone sounds. Copying the speaker's rhythm helps memory as well as Oral Fluency.
