Tips

How to answer Write Email

  1. 1

Read the situation and note who you are writing to: that decides formal or friendly.

  2. 2

Cover all three points, in order, one short paragraph each.

  3. 3

Use email conventions: a greeting (Dear Ms Patel, / Hi Jo,), a closing line, a sign-off and your name.

  4. 4

Aim for about 90–110 words, and keep a minute to check spelling.
