What is TOEFL 4.5 on the old 0–120 scale?+
86 or more. ETS's own guidance converts old requirements like this: 100 becomes 5, 90 becomes 4.5, 80 becomes 4 and 70 becomes 3.5.

On 21 January 2026. Until January 2028, score reports also show the CEFR level and a comparable 0–120 score; after that only the 1–6 band is reported.
