Where can I take IELTS in the Netherlands?

BLTC ran two sessions a day on most test days in Amsterdam, with at least 15 sessions between 17 October and 4 November 2026 in the British Council booking system. IDP's Dutch finder showed 54 upcoming sessions at IP Campus Amsterdam, 34 in Nijmegen, 16 each in Den Bosch and Rotterdam and 8 in Maastricht. It also lists IP Campus sites in Utrecht, Zwolle and a second Diemen venue, which had no sessions that day.

Results on computer arrive within about two days at the British Council and in 1 to 5 days at IDP, and every IDP venue offers One Skill Retake.

IELTS for UKVI (EUR 319) and Life Skills A1 or B1 (EUR 210) are offered only at BLTC Amsterdam (ielts.org). Book UKVI only for a UK visa that asks for it (UKVI vs Academic). If you only need a university place and cannot reach a centre, the British Council also sells IELTS Online for IELTS Academic at home, which it says immigration authorities do not accept (British Council Netherlands).

Many centres sit in university cities with their own rules: TU Delft, Maastricht University, Radboud University in Nijmegen and TU Eindhoven. Fees and refunds are in IELTS fee in the Netherlands; take a free IELTS mock test first.
