How much is the PTE exam fee in Sri Lanka?

Pearson's rules are the same everywhere (cancellation and rescheduling policy, last updated 17 September 2026, and refund policy). You can reschedule free while more than 14 full calendar days remain, up to six times per booking. Inside 14 days the Reschedule button disappears, so you must cancel and book again. A cancellation more than 14 days out refunds 100%, between 14 and more than 7 days 50%, and at 7 days or fewer nothing.

Pearson may allow a free reschedule for illness or a family emergency at its discretion, if you submit the Request Emergency Reschedule form with evidence within 72 hours of the appointment. More in our PTE reschedule, cancel and refund guide.

To book, create a myPTE account, choose the test, pick a centre and a slot at least 24 hours ahead, and pay. Pearson accepts American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa, and a voucher or promo code is entered at the payment step (Pearson booking guide). Your account name must match your passport exactly; it can be corrected up to 3 days before the test, never on test day, and a mismatch means no test and no refund.

Pearson lists official voucher resellers only for Nigeria and China (Pearson). If an agent in Sri Lanka books for you, make sure the booking sits in your own myPTE account so you control reschedules and refunds.

For UK visas, compare PTE Academic UKVI (USD 230) with IELTS for UKVI (LKR 82,500 at IDP, LKR 85,600 at the British Council) at your card's rate. Check your target with the PTE to IELTS converter and take a free PTE mock test before booking.
