Where can you take IELTS and PTE in Bathinda?

IDP's booking form on 9 October 2026 listed Bathinda sessions on 52 dates between 12 October and 30 December 2026 for IELTS on computer, Writing on Paper and IELTS for UKVI. Computer and UKVI tests ran from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Writing on Paper from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

IDP flags the Bathinda lab as having limited access for people with disabilities and names Amritsar as the accessible alternative. Life Skills is not offered in Bathinda; the nearest Life Skills cities are Jalandhar and Chandigarh.

Sri Muktsar Sahib, Faridkot and Firozpur appear in IDP's city directory but were not offered as test cities in its booking form on 9 October 2026, so test takers from those districts book Bathinda, Barnala or Moga. Barnala has an IDP lab for IELTS on computer, Writing on Paper and One Skill Retake but is not on the UKVI-approved list.

For PTE, the closest other centres on Pearson's list are run by HCL Tech in Barnala, Firozpur, Sirsa and Sri Ganganagar, one each.

There is no local price: IDP and Pearson each charge one fee across India, so Bathinda costs the same as Delhi or Kerala. IELTS figures are from IDP India's fee page and match the prices IDP's booking form showed for Bathinda-area sessions on 9 October 2026; PTE figures are from Pearson's price finder. Refund and transfer rules are in our IELTS fee in India and PTE fee in India guides.

IELTS: on IDP India's site choose Register for IELTS, then the test (IELTS on Computer, IELTS Writing on Paper, IELTS for UKVI or Life Skills), the module, and Bathinda as the test city; the dates and session times shown there are the live ones (how to register). You can also register in person at an IDP branch or registration partner. Upload a clear colour scan of your passport when you book and bring the original on test day. Speaking can fall on a different day, up to 7 days before or after the written test.

PTE: on pearsonpte.com choose the test first (Academic, Academic UKVI, Core or Home), then type Bathinda or the nearest centre city; only centres with slots for that test appear, and slots open at least 24 hours ahead (Pearson's booking guide). Enter your name exactly as on your passport, middle names in Given names; details can be corrected up to 3 days before the test, and a mismatch on the day means no test and no refund.

Results: IDP says most IELTS on computer results arrive within 2 days, Writing on Paper results after 7 calendar days, and Life Skills results within seven days. Pearson says most PTE Academic results arrive within two business days, occasionally up to five.
