The residence permit leaves English to admission

The Swedish Migration Agency asks that you are finally admitted to full-time studies, have paid any tuition fee, can show at least SEK 10,656 a month (applications in 2026), and have comprehensive health insurance. It names no English test: English is checked at admission, through University Admissions in Sweden. Permits granted on or after 11 June 2026 limit bachelor's and master's students to 15 hours of work a week.
